Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect when you visit this website and how we use it. We value transparency and your privacy, in line with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD).

Data we collect

• Session cookie (necessary). We use a single technical cookie so the site works securely (protection against form fraud). It does not track you and is deleted when you close your browser.
• Anonymous usage statistics. Without cookies, we record aggregate information such as pages visited, device and browser type, visit source (including campaign parameters) and time zone. We use an anonymous daily identifier only to count unique visitors. These statistics do not store your IP address and you cannot be identified from them. (Your IP is recorded only in security situations — see below.)
• Returning-visit measurement (only with your consent). If you click "Accept" on the cookie notice, we store a random identifier in your own browser that lets us tell whether a visitor is new or returning. It contains no personal data, stays only on your device, and you can decline in the notice or clear your browser data at any time.
• Security logs. When a request to the site looks like an intrusion attempt — probing for known vulnerable files, trying to reach folders outside the site, command injection or automated scanning — we record the source IP address, the date and time, the requested path, the method and the browser identification. Normal browsing does not produce such a record.
• Contact form. If you write to us, we collect the data you provide (such as name, email or phone and your message), used solely to reply to you.
• Third-party services. Only when enabled by the site administrator (for example, Google Analytics or Meta Pixel), those services may set their own cookies. No third-party service is currently active.

Purpose and legal basis

We use anonymous statistics based on the legitimate interest of understanding and improving the site; returning-visit measurement based on your consent; and contact data to handle your request.

Site security

Keeping the site online and protecting the data of those who use it requires identifying and containing intrusion attempts. We therefore keep the security logs described above on the basis of legitimate interest (art. 7, IX of the LGPD). That basis does not require your consent, but it does require us to inform you — which is what this section does. Protecting the environment benefits every visitor and would not be feasible by asking permission from whoever is attempting the intrusion.

These records are used for security only: never for advertising, visitor profiling or any commercial purpose. IP addresses with repeated abuse may be temporarily blocked.

Security logs are deleted automatically after 90 days. We share this information only if legally required to, upon request from a competent authority.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell your data. We may use service providers (hosting and email) strictly to operate the site. Statistics are kept for a limited period and then removed; contact data is kept for as long as needed to assist you.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, and withdraw consent at any time. To do so, contact us at contato@sailingadventures.com.br.

Cookies

The session cookie is necessary and cannot be disabled without affecting how the site works. Returning-visit measurement is optional — just click "Reject" on the notice. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser settings.
